Time to Help e.V. is an international humanitarian aid organization founded in 2006 by Muslims in Offenbach am Main. Donations to those in need are an important part of Islam. Therefore, they founded an association that enabled them to distribute food packages in several African and Asian countries. From the very beginning, it was clear that the aid should reach everyone, regardless of religion or origin.
Just a few years later, the field of work expanded in various directions. Starting in 2012, the first water wells were built to create a lasting positive impact on the local infrastructure in the aid areas. This was followed by the organization of cataract surgeries in African countries, with the help of which we have been able to restore people’s sight to this day. Since 2015, Time to Help has also been supporting refugees, primarily in Greece and Germany, and trying to facilitate their transition into their new societies. These are, of course, just a few of the milestones over the past 17 years. One thing is clear: the dream of a few Muslim citizens has evolved into an internationally active, non-profit organization. Our international aid projects target people in need in Africa, Asia, and especially disaster areas. Since the flood disaster in the Ahr Valley in July 2021, we have also increasingly initiated and supported aid projects in Germany.

People are always at the center of our work. As an international aid organization, our projects are aimed at those in need worldwide, regardless of their ethnic origin, nationality, or religion. Our work begins where it is most urgently needed. We always work with committed local partners to adapt our projects to the needs and circumstances on site.
The goal of our work is to contribute to solving social problems. To achieve this, we design our projects effectively and cooperatively. Our goal is to make them particularly sustainable, so that our assistance will hopefully no longer be necessary in the future.
