The Spanish region of Valencia was hit by one of the worst natural disasters in its history. The devastating floods not only claimed the lives of 51 people but also severely damaged the infrastructure in the affected areas. Thousands of people have been displaced from their homes, while many continue to rely on basic support and assistance. This tragedy has touched the hearts of people around the world. As Time to Help Germany, we have demonstrated our commitment from the very beginning and taken immediate action to assist those affected during this difficult time.
Together with international partners such as Embrace Relief from the US, ARO from Australia, and the Madrid-based Arco Forum Dialog, we have formed a strong alliance to provide rapid and effective relief. Our volunteers are directly on site to support cleanup efforts. We have also distributed food packages to meet people’s most urgent needs and give them hope in these challenging times.
In a world increasingly characterized by challenges and crises, it is more important than ever to harness the power of solidarity. This flood disaster reminds us that humanity knows no boundaries. Together, we can build bridges that provide not only material assistance but also comfort and reassurance.
Through their courage and determination, the people of Valencia are showing that hope can flourish even in the darkest moments. It is our responsibility to strengthen this spirit and help them get back on their feet.

We place particular emphasis on working with local authorities and organizations to ensure that aid is used in a targeted and effective manner.

As Time to Help, we say that there is an increased need for humanitarian aid today. There is poverty all over the world. Last but not least, increased by the global Corona pandemic, the poor have become even poorer.
Now it depends on all of us. Each donation adds up with a different donation. This enables us to reach more people and offer help. Our motto is to do good and let it work.
We work every day to make our world a nicer place. It lives better for everyone in a happier world. Especially for those who are otherwise disadvantaged by poverty, hunger and illness.
